PCB to Probe as Pakistan Player Tests Positive for Drugs.

A renowned player from the Pakistan Cricket team has been put under scanner. And it is none other than the all-rounder, Mohammad Nawaz. He has been playing for the National side for a while but he now finds himself in the middle of an investigation, which goes around him for the drug offence.

As a part of the routine tests, the Pakistan Cricket Board conducted the tests on its players. And since Nawaz is an active part of the team, he also had to go through the same. But unfortunately, the tests didn't come out in the favour of the experienced spin bowler. It has been reported that Nawaz has failed the drug test.

This brings major questions on the Pakistani player, as fans wonder what type of drugs he used to fail the test. It is also being reported that the Pakistan Cricket Board will launch an investigation into this matter, and check what type of charges should be put up against him.

Our Take

While Mohammad Nawaz faces serious charges, he also won't be able to play for the Pakistan team. And it also brings challenges to his future in the game, if he is found guilty. It would even bring suspension or bans for Nawaz, likely bringing an end to his career. Such actions being taken by a sportsperson are seriously questioned by the boards, and it remains to be seen what the PCB does to Nawaz once the investigations come to an end.
