Pro Kabaddi Season 12 delivered unmatched drama and balance, with Dabang Delhi K.C. edging Puneri Paltan 31-28 to clinch their second title. Nearly 45% of matches were decided by five points or fewer, 14 went to tiebreakers, and records tumbled as Ayan Lohchab scored 316 raid points and Fazel Atrachali won MVP honours.
For the twelfth season of the Pro Kabaddi League, fans witnessed the most competitive edition in the tournament’s history, filled with tie-breakers, golden raids, and nail-biting finishes. Dabang Delhi K.C. emerged as champions after edging Puneri Paltan 31-28 in a thrilling final at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium, becoming the first team since U Mumba in Season 2 to lift the trophy at home.
Nearly half of the 117 matches were decided by five points or fewer, while 14 games went to tiebreakers, proving how balanced the season was. Patna Pirates staged a stunning comeback from 12th to 7th place, while Telugu Titans reached the Playoffs for the first time since Season 4. Individually, Ayan Lohchab led all raiders with 316 raid points, while Fazel Atrachali crossed 550 career tackle points and won the MVP award.
The season also saw records from Devank, who became the fastest to 500 career raid points, and Alireza Mirzaian, who posted the highest raid points by a foreign player with 197. Dabang Delhi’s triumph, led by captain Ashu Malik and coach Joginder Narwal, symbolized teamwork and resilience. Puneri Paltan, the table-toppers, fought valiantly but fell just short in a season that set new benchmarks for excitement and competitiveness.
