When the lights shone brightest at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium, Dabang Delhi K.C. rose to the occasion to clinch their second Pro Kabaddi League title with a thrilling 31-28 win over Puneri Paltan in the Season 12 final. Led by Ashu Malik, the Delhi side delivered a composed performance, powered by Ajinkya Pawar’s six raid points and Neeraj Narwal’s all-round brilliance with eight points.
Puneri Paltan, despite a strong season that saw them win 14 matches, fell agonizingly short in the title clash. Their top raider, Aditya Shinde, produced a spirited Super 10, while defender Abinesh Nadarajan chipped in with four tackle points. Gaurav Khatri also made key contributions with crucial Super Tackles that kept the game alive Dabang Delhi seized early control through Neeraj Narwal’s two-point raids and Pawar’s decisive all-out, leading 20-14 at half time.
