Dabang Delhi KC clinched its second PKL trophy with a 31-28 win over Puneri Paltan in the Season 12 final. Coach Joginder Narwal, who earlier captained Delhi to their maiden title in Season 8, praised his players’ unity and resilience, especially captain Ashu Malik’s fighting spirit through injuries.

Doing the double as both captain and coach, Joginder Narwal guided Dabang Delhi KC to its second Pro Kabaddi League title after a thrilling 31-28 win against Puneri Paltan in the PKL Season 12 Final. Narwal, who captained Delhi to their maiden championship in Season 8, became only the second individual after Manpreet Singh to win the PKL trophy both as a player and coach.

Reflecting on his journey, Narwal expressed pride in achieving this rare feat and credited his players for their determination and teamwork. He highlighted the similarities between the championship-winning sides of Season 8 and Season 12, pointing out the strong mix of experience and youth that defined both teams. The 2025 squad, led by captain Ashu Malik, featured stalwarts like Fazel Atrachali, Surjeet Singh, Saurabh Nandal, and Sandeep Dhull alongside raiders Ashu, Ajinkya Pawar, and Neeraj Narwal.

Narwal praised Ashu for his courage to play through injuries, emphasizing his leadership and fighting spirit as key factors in Delhi’s success. He also credited the team’s unity, stating that the trust and support among players and staff played a decisive role in their triumphant campaign, turning Dabang Delhi into a model of consistency and resilience in PKL history.
