MI W vs DC W | Twitter chuckles as Sneh Rana embarrasses herself after attempting to outfox Harmanpreet

Bowlers often struggle to grip the ball with the onset of dew, and Sneh Rana had an embarrassing experience against the Mumbai Indians. The Delhi Capitals spinner, while trying to surprise a charging Harmanpreet Kaur, ended up pitching the ball more than once for the umpire to signal a no-ball.

The pair took the side past the 100-run mark in the 13th over en route to adding 66 runs for the third wicket in 47 balls. Though the England skipper departed after a 46-ball 70, her Indian counterpart Harmanpreet continued to haunt the visitors’ bowling.
Off-spinner Sneh Rana looked clueless with both the MI skipper and Nicola Carey plundering three fours in the first four balls of the 16th over. With Harmanpreet once again giving the charge in the last ball, Sneh had no option but to go short. But with the dew making its way in the evening, the offie ended up making a meal of the short ball.
The white rock pitched closer to Sneh than to Harman, bouncing twice before slowly making its way to wicketkeeper Lizelle Lee. The idea was perfect as Harmanpreet was caught by surprise and scampered her way back to the seat.
But she got the execution all wrong, with the umpire immediately signalling a no-ball for multiple bumps before reaching the batter. Twitter was in splits as Sneh had nowhere to hide before keeping both hands on her head in an embarrassing moment.
