For the final match of their season, UP Yoddhas secured a narrow 35-32 victory over U Mumba at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium in Delhi on Thursday. Although the win was not enough for the Yoddhas to make the top eight, it prevented U Mumba from claiming a top-four finish. The game saw both teams focusing heavily on defence. The first half ended in a 17-17 deadlock with both teams exchanging points through Do-Or-Die raids and tackles.

In the second half, UP Yoddhas gradually pulled ahead, aided by Sumit Sangwan’s crucial tackles and Surender Gill’s raids, inflicting an All Out to gain a seven-point lead at 27-20. Despite U Mumba’s late comeback led by Ajit and Rinku, UP Yoddhas held on, with Bhavani Rajput adding a vital point to seal the 35-32 win.
