Coach Manpreet Singh Gives Credit as Haryana Steelers End Losing Streak

Coach Manpreet Singh praised key players Jaideep Dahiya and Rahul after Haryana Steelers ended their five-match losing streak with a 40-32 win over Patna Pirates in PKL 12. As the Haryana Steelers ended their five-match losing streak in Pro Kabaddi League Season 12, head coach Manpreet Singh and skipper Jaideep Dahiya praised the collective effort and strong support from the management. Haryana secured a 40-32 win against Patna Pirates, with Shivam Patare scoring 12 raid points and Jaideep contributing a high-five. Coach Singh highlighted key players Jaideep and Rahul, noting their consistent performances in both raiding and tackling, while also appreciating Vinay, Shivam, and Ghanshyam for scoring crucial points.

Jaideep Dahiya emphasized the motivating role of the management and coaching staff, stating that their encouragement was central to the team’s comeback. He expressed determination to maintain this momentum, aiming to compensate for the earlier five losses with future wins. On the other hand, Patna Pirates struggled after initially leading in the first half. Defence coach Randeep Dalal pointed out a few defensive errors and consecutive catches by Haryana that shifted the match’s momentum.

Skipper Ankit Jaglan admitted the mistakes in defence cost them the game and promised to address these in upcoming matches. Dalal also acknowledged Gujarat Giants as a formidable next opponent, highlighting the need for a well-planned strategy. With this win, Haryana Steelers showed renewed spirit, while Puneri Paltan and Dabang Delhi remain the top contenders for the PKL 12 playoffs.
