Harry Kane, who joined Bayern Munich from Tottenham in 2023 for £86 million, has scored 65 goals in 65 Bundesliga games, leading them to the title last season. Despite his contract running until 2027, reports suggest he could leave earlier for a dream move. Bayern’s pursuit of strikers hints at preparations for his possible exit.

As the debate over Harry Kane’s long-term future intensifies, Bayern Munich are reportedly preparing themselves for a major decision regarding their star striker. Kane joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023 for £86 million and has been outstanding since his arrival, scoring 65 goals in 65 league games. His prolific form helped the club secure the Bundesliga title last season, and he has already added three goals in two matches during their current title defence.

Despite his contract running until 2027, speculation is mounting that the England captain could leave earlier to pursue a dream move. German football journalist Raphael Honigstein has suggested that many within the Bundesliga do not expect Kane to complete his deal with Bayern. Talks may take place soon to prevent the risk of him leaving on a free transfer.

Bayern’s recent transfer activity has also fueled speculation, with the club pursuing Benjamin Sesko and Nick Woltemade before eventually securing Nicolas Jackson on loan from Chelsea. While Jackson is not viewed as a direct replacement, his signing hints that Bayern are planning for life after Kane. For now, however, Kane remains central to Bayern’s attack, with no indication he will be displaced in the immediate future.
