Bowlers celebrating after getting wickets is a common sight but Jason Holder pulled off a unique one during the first T20I against Bangladesh in Chattogram. The West Indies all-rounder broke into an impromptu dance after going through Shamim Hossain’s defence to evoke laughter among his teammates.

‌After opting to bat in the first T20I against Bangladesh at the Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram on Monday, West Indies put on a challenging 165/3 on board. Captain Shai Hope and Rovman Powell scored 46 and 44, respectively, and put on an unbeaten 83-run partnership for the fourth wicket to pull the Windies out of trouble.

In reply, Tanzid Hasan helped the home side to a positive start with a six and two boundaries in the first seven balls before the innings went south. The Tigers were reduced to 38/3 inside the powerplay as Jason Holder came into the attack in the final over of field restrictions.

In just the third ball he struck gold, outfoxing Shamim Hossain with a clever change of pace. He pitched the ball on a short of a length with the batter immediately going for the pull. But the slower pace ensured that the ball passed the batter after he waved his bat before crashing on to the top of off stump.

Though the wicket was impressive, the celebration was even better as the all-rounder suddenly put on his dancing shoes to pull off an impromptu number. He mimicked a pop singer with a mic before going in rounds to arouse laughter from his teammates who came to congratulate him.

Spinner Akeal Hosein also joined with him as the home side stared down the barrel in their chase of 166. Twitter was impressed with Holder’s dancing skills as they joined along with the merry-making all-rounder.
