As he promised before, Chris Gayle finally signed off in style after a trademark innings against India. He struggled to get going in the first two ODIs, but alas, he bounced back in the third by scoring an astute 72 off 41 deliveries today in Trinidad, and Twitterati poured blessings on the same.

End of the "UNIVERSE BOSS"

There were raining sixes before the actual rain!

Can't help it!

So, was it all pre-planned??

A great batsman who will be remembered forever!!

I was confused whether it was an ODI or a T20 :D

Whadda Legend he is!!

Thank you for all the entertainment!!

Great player!! Incomparable!

West Indies will surely miss the "UNIVERSE BOSS"

Will miss those huge sixes into the crowd!!
