In the 12th season of the Pro Kabaddi League, Haryana Steelers recorded their biggest win of the campaign by thrashing UP Yoddhas 53-26 at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium in Delhi on Thursday. The 27-point victory lifted the Steelers to fifth place on the points table. Shivam Patare was the star of the show, achieving a Super 10 by scoring 11 points in 10 raids, while Jaideep Dahiya completed a High Five.
Substitute Ghanshyam Magar contributed eight raid points, and Neeraj added four tackle points to strengthen the team’s defence. The Steelers started strongly with Vinay registering his 100th raid point of the season and Sahil Narwal leading in defence. Rahul Sethpal’s brilliant tackle led to the first ALL OUT, giving Haryana a 12-5 lead. Despite Keshav Kumar’s efforts for UP Yoddhas, the visitors conceded a second ALL OUT to trail 26-12 at halftime.
UP Yoddhas tried to stage a comeback in the second half with Gagan Gowda and Guman Singh contributing, but the Steelers maintained control. Sahil Narwal’s Super Tackle and Jaideep Dahiya’s High Five helped execute multiple ALL OUTs. Ghanshyam Magar, Neeraj, and Jaideep ensured the Steelers scored 21 points in the final quarter, sealing a dominant 53-26 victory.
