After the Haryana Steelers trailed early against Patna Pirates, they staged a remarkable comeback to win 39-32 at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium on Monday night, ending a five-match losing streak and moving up to sixth place on the points table. Jaideep Dahiya starred with a High Five, recording six tackles, while Shivam Patare completed his Super 10, becoming the first Steelers player to reach 100 raid points this season.

The game began with both sides trading early points through Maninder Singh, Vinay, and Ayan Lohchab, who also executed a tackle on Shivam Patare. Patna Pirates opened a seven-point lead midway through the first half after inflicting the first ALL OUT on the defending champions, with Ayan scoring nine raid points before halftime and Vaibhav Garje adding key tackles to take a 20-14 advantage.

Haryana’s defence, led by Hardeep, Rahul Sethpal, and Balaji D, helped reduce the gap, and the Steelers hit back in the second half with multiple Super Tackles and raids from Sahil Narwal, Vinay, and Ghanshyam Magar. Jaideep’s consecutive tackles and Vinay’s raid caused another ALL OUT, giving Haryana a four-point lead. Shivam’s finishing raids and Sahil’s defensive efforts sealed the seven-point victory, completing a thrilling comeback for the Steelers.
