When the Indian women’s cricket team lifted the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 trophy after defeating South Africa by 52 runs, it marked the end of a 50-year wait and sparked celebrations across the nation. The historic win not only captivated cricket fans but also drew admiration from the Kabaddi fraternity, with players, teams, and coaches uniting to congratulate the champions.

PKL Season 12 had just concluded with Dabang Delhi’s title triumph, and during the post-season, Puneri Paltan’s coach Ajay Thakur and captain Aslam Inamdar had already wished the women’s team success ahead of the final. Following India’s victory, Dabang Delhi hailed the achievement with a post reading, “Our girls are no less than the boys,” while Patna Pirates shared, “The tricolour flies high and our hearts are filled with pride.” Telugu Titans added, “They didn’t just play the game, they changed it forever.”
