Enzo Fernandez Eyes Real Madrid Move from Chelsea

After the ongoing speculation linking Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez with a move to Real Madrid, reports from Spain suggest the Argentina international is keen on a transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu in 2026. Despite being under contract with Chelsea until 2032, Fernandez has reportedly “opened the door” to a switch, with his agent aware of his desire to join Xabi Alonso’s squad.

The 24-year-old has started all ten of Chelsea’s matches across competitions this season, contributing four goals and assists, showing his importance to Enzo Maresca’s team while keeping Real Madrid as a priority. Real Madrid are actively seeking a midfield replacement following Luka Modric’s departure, and Fernandez’s potential arrival would complement existing talents such as Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde, Aurelien Tchouameni, Dani Ceballos, Jude Bellingham, and Arda Guler.
