In the away game, Jaiswal managed to score 171 runs on his debut. And at the second Test of the West Indies series, he has smashed yet another century. The domination by the bat by Jaiswal at home when he plays in countries like the SENA now is a common thing.

Over the past few years, several things have changed in the Test team. But Yashasvi Jaiswal, being the classic opener, has remained permanent. With Jaiswal sealing his spot at the opening position, he is also eyeing to play in the other formats.
2. Jaiswal vs Other Youngsters
The Indian team is currently being ruled by the youngsters, particularly in the Test and T20I formats. But, out of all the players, Yashasvi Jaiswal has been the star. Even though he is playing for the team in the Test format only, he has outperformed various experienced players in his short career span.
Jaiswal has also eyed his place in the T20I team as an opener. But currently, that spot is being held by two youngsters, Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma. Jaiswal has remained a crucial part of the Indian team in the T20I format at a time. But it has been months since he last played in this format for the team.

This further allowed him to focus more on the Test format and improve his performances in the same. Shubman Gill, India's Test captain, holds just two more centuries than Jaiswal. But it should also be noted that he has played 12 more games as compared to he has. It won't shock the fans if Jaiswal overtakes Gill in terms of Test centuries in no time.
