The Ashes are now looming closer, and the heat between the two teams is already on. Pat Cummins, the Australian captain, is expected to miss out on the first Test. With Cummins missing out on the initial game, the team will surely have to look forward to a stand-in captain.

But there is another challenge for the Aussies, which is to bring a bowler in place of Cummins. And for this, Scott Boland proves to be the right person. With his lethal pace and deadly accuracy, Boland has proven for the batsmen in the Australian conditions.

At the time when the English team should be prepared for Boland, Mike Atherton expressed his views. He clearly said that the English strikers won't be worrying about Boland as they smashed him in the 2023 Ashes. The question now remains whether Boland would dominate in the Home Tests or not.
