Both batters utilised the powerplay and smashed some brilliant boundaries to lay a strong foundation. This partnership ended with Anmol’s dismissal off Navdeep Saini’s bowling in the sixth over. He scored 28 runs off 21 balls, with three fours and a six. After an addition of 19 runs, Dahiya also went back to the pavilion after getting caught by Vansh Bedi off Rajneesh Dadar’s delivery in the eighth over. Dahiya managed to play a quick knock of 32 runs off just 19 balls, with four fours and two sixes. The Superstarz faced another blow in a quick succession as they lost Ankur Kaushik (11) at the team score of just 79 runs in 9.1 overs. Then came a decisive partnership of 42 runs for the fourth wicket between skipper Ayush Badoni and Vision Panchal. Number three batter Pranav Pant (7) also fell cheaply at the team score of 55 runs in 7.1 overs. Meanwhile, it was Samarth Seth who kept holding one end and stitched a much-needed partnership of 48 runs for the third wicket with Dev Lakra. Seth’s valiant effort came to an end when he was caught at long-on by Anmol Sharma off Khandelwal’s delivery. Seth scored 47 runs off 34 balls, with six fours and a six.
