The Purani Delhi 6 have been through miserable outings in the ongoing DPL 2025. Their campaign started with a massive 82-run defeat against the Outer Delhi Warriors, before two wins in a row against West Delhi Lions and New Delhi Tigers by 15 and 19 runs. Furthermore, they faced four consecutive defeats in the next four games, dropping to the last spot in the tournament standings. Now, they will aim to beat the Kings and register their third win in the tournament’s current edition.

Central Delhi Kings have been one of the most successful teams in the tournament, with six wins and a defeat in their eight games, alongside a no-result game. They registered three successive wins in the first three games, followed by an abandoned game against the Warriors. Later, in the next game against the Warriors, the Kings won by 12 runs, before defeating the North Delhi Strikers by 15 runs.
