During the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 clash at the Vishwanadh Sports Club in Vizag, Bengaluru Bulls ended their three-match losing streak with a 38-30 win over Patna Pirates. The victory was a much-needed boost for the Bulls, who had been struggling early in the season. Iranian raider Alireza Mirzaian was the standout performer, scoring a Super 10 to lead his team, while Aashish Malik added eight points to keep Bengaluru ahead throughout the match.

Skipper Yogesh Dahiya praised the team’s performance, highlighting both offence and defence for their contribution. A key factor in the win was a tactical adjustment by the coaching staff, switching to five defenders and two raiders instead of their previous formation. This change strengthened the defence and allowed Mirzaian to raid with greater freedom and confidence.

The head coach emphasized the importance of belief and small tactical tweaks, noting that allowing players to showcase their skills can benefit the team. Mirzaian also acknowledged the role of preparation and coaching in enabling him to perform at his best. The Bulls’ victory not only earned them two points but also provided momentum and confidence for their next game against Haryana, giving them a chance to turn their season around.
