For the Bengal Warriorz, the confidence is growing in Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 after their impressive 54-44 win over defending champions Haryana Steelers. The team, led by star raider Devank Dalal and defensive leader Nitesh Kumar, is preparing for its next big test against Puneri Paltan in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday. Head coach Naveen Kumar, in his first season with the squad, praised the positive environment in the camp and credited the management for complete support.

He highlighted that the focus has been on correcting weaknesses, building combinations, and maintaining discipline. “Our mentality is very strong. With a young squad, it is important to instill the Warrior mindset of not fearing any opponent,” Naveen said. Puneri Paltan, who have a strong defensive record and have added Aslam Inamdar to their lineup, pose a tough challenge.

Last season, Bengal Warriorz managed one tie and one loss against them, but the coach believes the revamped squad is better prepared. With energy high in training and belief strong among the players, Naveen is confident that the team will continue to perform well and reach its full potential in the long season ahead.
