In the Qualifier 1 of Pro Kabaddi League Season 12, Dabang Delhi secured a thrilling win over Puneri Paltan to book their place in the final. The contest was fiercely fought, with both teams exchanging leads throughout the 40 minutes, eventually finishing level and forcing a tiebreaker. In the decisive moments, Saurabh Nandal’s superb ankle hold on Aslam Inamdar turned the match in Delhi’s favor, helping them seal a hard-fought victory.

After the match, Delhi captain Ashu Malik provided an encouraging update on his fitness. He revealed that with three to four days before the final, he is confident of recovering fully, crediting the team’s physios for their support. Ashu explained how he returned to the mat after a brief injury break, motivated to guide his side even if he couldn’t score, showcasing his leadership and commitment.
