Making the most of their red-hot form, the Patna Pirates stormed into Eliminator 3 of PKL 2025 with a commanding 46-37 win over the Bengaluru Bulls at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium on Monday. The victory marked their eighth consecutive triumph, as star raider Ayan once again delivered a masterclass, finishing with 19 raid points to lead the Pirates’ charge.

The game began evenly, but Ayan’s brilliance soon tilted the contest as Patna inflicted the first ALL OUT to go 9-3 ahead. Supported by Deepak’s sharp tackles, the Pirates dominated both ends of the mat and stretched their lead to 27-13 by halftime. Bengaluru’s defence showed some resistance through a Super Tackle, but the Pirates’ relentless consistency ensured full control. The second half witnessed history when Shubham Bitake produced a stunning 7-point Super Raid, the highest in PKL history, briefly igniting hopes for the Bulls.

Alireza Mirzaian followed with a key tackle to inflict an ALL OUT and reduce the gap, but Patna quickly regrouped. Maintaining composure under pressure, they extended their advantage to 40-30 and closed out the game comfortably. The Pirates’ mix of precision raiding and tight defence sealed another confident win and a deserved place in Eliminator 3 against Telugu Titans.
