Vinay’s Super 10 and Rahul Sethpal’s High Five weren’t enough for the Steelers.

When the Jaipur Pink Panthers faced Haryana Steelers at the SDAT Multi Purpose Indoor Stadium in Chennai on Wednesday, they staged a remarkable comeback to win 37-36. Trailing by ten points at one stage, the defending champions unleashed a stunning 17-point final quarter to snatch victory. Sahil Satpal led the charge with seven points, while Ali Samadi added six. Aryan Kumar and Deepanshu Khatri contributed four tackle points each. Haryana Steelers started strong, with Vinay scoring first and Neeraj Kumar making an early tackle on Nitin Kumar.

Despite Deepanshu Khatri and Ali Samadi’s efforts, the Steelers pulled ahead through Vinay’s successful Do-or-Die raid, Rahul Ahri’s tackle, and Shivam Patare’s two-point raids, establishing a 10-4 lead in the first ten minutes. Haryana maintained dominance, completing an ALL OUT through Rahul Sethpal to lead 20-13 at halftime. The second half saw the Steelers extending their advantage to 26-20, with Rahul Sethpal achieving a High Five.

However, Jaipur gradually closed the gap, with Aryan Kumar and Sahil keeping the scoreboard ticking. In the final minute, Nitin Rawal’s clutch tackle on Vinay triggered an ALL OUT, putting the Pink Panthers ahead. Deepanshu Khatri’s final tackle ensured a thrilling 37-36 win, giving head coach Narender Redhu sweet revenge over Manpreet Singh.
