Star raider Pawan Sehrawat revealed that during Pro Kabaddi 2025, he was assigned the role of a secondary raider, not the main one. After the season, he disclosed that his exit from Tamil Thalaivas was due to petty reasons like minor delays for shoots, which he felt were manipulated by the team management.

After the conclusion of the Pro Kabaddi League 2025 season, star raider Pawan Sehrawat opened up about his controversial exit from Tamil Thalaivas and his surprising role within the team. Speaking on Sunil Taneja’s YouTube channel, Pawan revealed that despite being one of the league’s leading raiders, he was assigned the role of a second or third raider rather than the main attacking option.

He explained that the team management had clearly instructed him that he would not lead the raids, and he accepted the decision as part of the team plan. Pawan further shared insights from the season opener, saying that Arjun Deshwal was leading the raids in the first half against Telugu Titans. With his side trailing by seven points, Pawan questioned the coach about the decision but was told to continue with the plan.

Later, he expressed disappointment over his sudden dismissal from the squad, revealing that the reasons cited, such as being late by five or ten minutes for promotional shoots, were trivial and manipulated. Pawan also criticized the internal setup, stating that players were being blamed for defeats despite following the strategies laid out by the coaching staff.
