As the Pro Kabaddi League gears up for its 12th season beginning on August 29, excitement is building with a longer league stage and a revamped playoff system promising intense action. The previous edition saw Haryana Steelers secure their maiden PKL title after defeating Patna Pirates 32-23 in the final, driven by standout performances from Shivam Patare, Mohammadreza Shadloui, and Vinay.

The spotlight now shifts to the raiders, the biggest superstars of the sport, as fans await more breathtaking super raids. Last season, Patna Pirates’ Devank Dalal led the charts with 301 raid points in 25 matches, followed by Ashu Malik of Dabang Delhi KC with 262 points in 23 games. Jaipur Pink Panthers’ Arjun Deshwal tallied 227 points, while U Mumba’s Ajit Chouhan (185) and Ayan Lohchab of Patna Pirates (184) rounded off the top five.

Looking at PKL’s history, Pardeep Narwal remains the most prolific raider with 1801 raid points from 190 matches at an average of 9.49. He is followed by Maninder Singh with 1528 points in 158 games, while Pawan Sehrawat has 1318 from 139 matches. Rising stars like Arjun Deshwal (1174) and Naveen Kumar (1102) also stand out with averages above 10, underlining their dominance.
