After the Premier League summer transfer window of 2025, clubs were busy reshaping their squads with some blockbuster moves. Liverpool dominated the market by signing Alexander Isak from Newcastle for £125m, Hugo Ekitike for £69m, Florian Wirtz for £100m, and Milos Kerkez for £40m. Arsenal were also highly active, bringing in Martin Zubimendi (£60m), Eberechi Eze (£60m), Viktor Gyokeres (£55m), and Noni Madueke (£48.5m), while letting Kieran Tierney and Thomas Partey leave for free.

Chelsea continued their trend of heavy spending, signing Joao Pedro (£55m), Jamie Gittens (£48.5m), Alejandro Garnacho (£40m), and Jorrel Hato (£35.5m). Manchester United secured Benjamin Sesko (£73.6m), Bryan Mbeumo (£65m), and Matheus Cunha (£62.5m), but lost Garnacho to Chelsea. Newcastle, despite losing Isak, added Anthony Elanga (£55m), Yoane Wissa (£55m), and Nick Woltemade (£73m).

Manchester City invested in Gianluigi Donnarumma (£26m), James Trafford (£27m), and Tijani Reijnders (£46.6m) but saw Kevin De Bruyne depart for free to Napoli. Tottenham strengthened with Xavi Simons (£56.3m) and Mohammed Kudus (£55m). Among other clubs, Brighton sold Joao Pedro to Chelsea for £55m, while Brentford lost Mbeumo (£65m) and Wissa (£55m) but signed Dango Ouattara (£37m). The window highlighted record-breaking spending across England’s top clubs.
