Maguire topped the official fan poll with 42 per cent of the votes, well ahead of Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, who earned 14 per cent after scoring twice in a 2-0 win over Everton. Crystal Palace’s Jean-Philippe Mateta, who netted a hat-trick in a thrilling 3-3 draw with Bournemouth, finished third with 12 per cent, followed by Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka with 11 per cent.
The rest of the top performers included Reece James (10 per cent), Nordi Mukiele (seven per cent), Pedro Neto (three per cent) and Junior Kroupi (one per cent). Across the matchweek, Arsenal maintained their lead with a 1-0 victory over Fulham, Manchester City continued their strong run, and Aston Villa stunned Tottenham 2-1 away. Previous weekly winners this season include Moises Caicedo, Erling Haaland, Ryan Gravenberch, and Richarlison, marking a competitive start to the 2025-26 campaign.
