Manchester City star Erling Haaland has renewed his partnership with the Norwegian Seafood Council to promote the health benefits of Norwegian salmon. Building on their 2024 collaboration, the 2025 campaign highlights Haaland’s Norwegian roots, nutrition-focused lifestyle, and love for seafood, featuring scenic Norwegian locations like Henningsvær to boost global awareness.

For the 2025 campaign, Norwegian football star Erling Haaland has extended his partnership with the Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) to promote the benefits of eating Norwegian farmed salmon. Having first become the global ambassador for the “Seafood from Norway” brand in 2024, Haaland will now front new campaigns highlighting the shared Norwegian heritage between himself and the country’s seafood industry.

The initiative aims to emphasize salmon’s role in a healthy, protein-rich diet suitable for athletes. Haaland praised Norwegian seafood for its taste and nutritional value, noting that it plays a vital role in his diet for performance and recovery. The NSC’s Guro Lund stated that the campaign seeks to link Haaland’s strength, discipline, and passion with Norwegian salmon, while new visuals will connect Norway’s dramatic landscapes, such as the famous Henningsvær football field, to both Haaland and seafood.

NSC’s Camilla Beck reported that previous collaborations featuring Haaland delivered strong results, boosting brand visibility and reinforcing positive associations with Norwegian seafood worldwide. With these new efforts in 2025, the NSC hopes to deepen consumer connections and further showcase Norwegian salmon as a symbol of quality, health, and national pride.
