World Cup winner Julian Draxler, now 32 and playing for Al Ahli, admitted he sometimes wonders about rejecting Liverpool for PSG in 2017. The German midfielder, who also turned down Arsenal earlier in his career, won four Ligue 1 titles and made 198 appearances for PSG. He insists he has no regrets but remains curious about a Premier League career.

During the peak of his career, Julian Draxler had the chance to join Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp but instead chose Paris Saint-Germain in January 2017 for £37 million while playing for Wolfsburg. The German midfielder, a 2014 World Cup winner, later admitted he still wonders what could have happened if he had moved to Anfield. At PSG, Draxler enjoyed success, making 198 appearances, scoring 26 goals, and winning four Ligue 1 titles, four Coupe de France trophies, and three Coupe de la Ligue titles.

He was also part of the squad that reached the 2020 Champions League final. Liverpool, meanwhile, rose to the top under Klopp, reaching the Champions League final in 2018, lifting the trophy in 2019, and adding the Premier League, FIFA Club World Cup, FA Cup, League Cup, and UEFA Super Cup.

Draxler revealed he also once had the option of joining Arsenal during his Schalke days and admitted curiosity about what might have happened under Arsène Wenger. Now 32 and playing for Al Ahli in Qatar after spells with Benfica and PSG, Draxler says he has no regrets but continues to reflect on the paths not taken in the Premier League.
