Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has been offered to Barcelona as he approaches free agency on June 30, 2025. While Al-Hilal is ready to pay him a staggering $54 million per season, Salah is reportedly interested in a European adventure. However, Barça financial struggles could hinder the move unless Salah accepts a massive pay cut from his current $19.3M salary at Liverpool.

In the latest transfer developments, Mohamed Salah has reportedly been offered to FC Barcelona by his representatives, according to SPORT. The Liverpool forward is set to become a free agent on June 30, 2025, with strong links to Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia, who are prepared to offer him a massive $54 million (€50 million) per season contract to replace Neymar.

While negotiations with Al-Hilal are said to be at an advanced stage, Salah's camp has approached Barcelona, a club he was linked to in late 2024. With Hansi Flick looking for a versatile forward to support Robert Lewandowski, Salah fits the profile. However, Barcelona's financial struggles make a deal difficult.

The Egyptian forward currently earns $19.3 million (£15 million) per season at Liverpool, a wage Barcelona cannot match unless he agrees to a significant pay cut. Despite the challenges, Salah appears interested in continuing in European football rather than moving to the Middle East. Barcelona must now decide whether they can make financial adjustments to accommodate him or risk losing out to Saudi Arabia's lucrative offer.
