After the 2024–25 season, Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker reaffirmed his loyalty and value to the club following speculation about a potential move to Saudi Arabia. Despite expressing openness to big offers, Alisson made it clear in August that he never truly considered leaving Anfield, citing his commitment to the club with two years left on his contract plus a one-year option.

The Brazilian’s decision proved critical as he played a key role in helping Liverpool secure their 20th league title, equalling Manchester United’s all-time record. Although he missed 10 Premier League games due to injury—including a serious hamstring issue in October—he remained a cornerstone of Liverpool’s defense.

Alisson delivered nine clean sheets in 28 Premier League appearances, contributing significantly to the Reds’ solid defensive record—second only to Arsenal. His return in December, during a Champions League clash against Girona, marked a high point, but his standout moment came in the round of 16 against PSG.
