Marcus Rashford scored his first goal for Barcelona in a 5–0 win over Daegu, coming off the bench to convert an Eric Garcia cross. The 27-year-old joined on loan from Manchester United and endured a rough debut against Vissel Kobe, where he was subbed off after just 30 minutes. Barcelona hold a £26m option to buy him.

After the early struggles of his Barcelona debut, Marcus Rashford appears to be finding his footing at the Catalan club. The 27-year-old forward, on loan from Manchester United, scored his first goal for Barça in a 5-0 pre-season victory over Daegu, converting a cross from Eric Garcia after coming off the bench at half-time. Rashford’s start in Spain was rocky, in his debut against Vissel Kobe, he was subbed on at half-time only to be substituted again after 30 minutes.

Head coach Hansi Flick explained that the move was to give young forward Gerard Martin some game time after returning from injury. Despite limited minutes, Rashford has now featured in all three of Barcelona’s pre-season games in Asia, including a 6-3 win over FC Seoul. The England international expressed optimism, saying he’s adjusting well to the team and embraces the challenge of Spanish football.

He also stated he's not concerned about the ongoing registration issues due to Barcelona’s financial troubles. Barcelona have a £26 million option to make Rashford’s move permanent. He was part of a five-man group sidelined at United under Ruben Amorim, and is currently the only one to have secured a move away.
