After the completion of a strong season with Juventus' U17 team, young Senegalese forward Demba Sall Samb has been loaned to Empoli for the 2025/26 campaign. The 17-year-old talent, originally from Louga and a graduate of the "Les Férus de Foot" academy, recently signed his first professional contract with Juventus. In the 2024/25 season, he impressed by scoring 8 goals and providing 1 assist in 18 appearances for the U17 side.

Though he’s been loaned to Empoli, currently in Serie B after finishing 18th in Serie A last season, Sall Samb will initially join their U19 squad. The deal includes an option for Empoli to make the move permanent after the loan spell ends. Empoli, aiming for promotion back to Serie A, sees potential in the young attacker’s versatility and goal-scoring instincts.

Juventus appears to be grooming Sall Samb with a long-term view, allowing him to gain professional experience while monitoring his progress. His loan move is also symbolic of Juventus’ ongoing investment in youth development, particularly in African talent. If he performs well in Serie B or the Primavera league, Sall Samb could return to Turin ready for top-flight football in the near future.
