Bangladesh and the West Indies will face each other in the second T20I of the three-match series at Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram. The hosts will aim to beat the Caribbean side in the penultimate fixture to level the series 1-1, making the third one interesting.

Apart from a 16-run defeat against the West Indies in the first T20I of the ongoing three-match series, Bangladesh are enjoying a decent form in their last five T20I fixtures. They have won three games while losing only two in their last five appearances in the shortest format of the game. Before the first T20I defeat against the West Indies, they had defeated Afghanistan by a clean sweep margin of 3-0 in the three-match T20I series. Now, the hosts will target to win the second T20I and level the series 1-1.

Speaking of the Caribbean side, they are coming off two consecutive wins after three straight defeats in their last five T20Is. In the first T20I of the ongoing series, they defeated Bangladesh by 16 runs, following a 10-wicket win against Nepal in the third T20I of a lost series. Now, Shai Hope’s men will look forward to winning this game and securing an unassailable lead of 2-0 to seal the three-match series.
