The new edition of the Ranji Trophy has just started, and within two games, players have started to make their mark. He ended up scoring 116 runs off 163 balls in the first innings of the game. And this was also followed by 36 runs off 35 balls in the second innings, which has put the team in a strong position.
It is not like Ruturaj Gaikwad is playing well for the team lately. Over the past few months, he has given some tremendous performances in the domestic format, which looks good to open the doors for him to the Indian team. His consistency in the Duleep Trophy in the semi-final match between West Zone and Central Zone.
When the team stood at the score of 2/10, Gaikwad went on to score 184 runs, which put them in a strong position. Only two batters, except him, were able to cross the 50-run mark for the team, as West Zone scored 438 runs in the first innings. The match ended in a draw, but Central Zone won the game, having a better score in the first innings.
