Queensland are coming off a win in their previous game, while New South Wales lost to Victoria in their previous outing in the current season.

Queensland’s campaign started with a drawn game against Tasmania in their campaign opener for the ongoing Sheffield Shield 2025-26. They will aim to win this game and move to the top spot in the tally.

Speaking of New South Wales, they are currently in the fourth spot on the points table, with a win and a defeat in their two games so far.
