They will aim to continue their winning run and beat West Indies in the T20I series opener to take a lead of 1-0 in the three-match home T20I series.

On the other hand, the West Indies are coming off a ‘nightmare’ as they recently lost by 1-2 in a three-match T20I series against the lower-ranked team of Nepal. The Caribbean side has won only two games in their last five games, while facing three consecutive defeats between these two wins. So, they will look forward to registering a success in this game against Bangladesh and forget their poor outing against Nepal in the three-match T20I series.
