The word ‘aura farming’ is now famous among the new generation, which is known as Gen-Z, as they use it quite often to explain or talk about something amazing. However, veteran cricketer Wayne Parnell recently followed this trend with his amazing moves after dismissing Ravi Bopara in WCL 2025.

South Africa Champs asked England to bat first after winning the toss in the eighth game of the ongoing World Championship of Legends 2025. The Proteas bowlers restricted the hosts to 152/6 in the allotted 20 overs. Opener Phil Mustard scored a crucial 39 (33), hitting three fours and a six, followed by Samit Patel’s 16-ball 24 and Morgan’s 20-run knock. Parnell and Tahir shared four wickets between them, alongside a wicket each picked by Duanne Olivier and Chris Morris.

South Africa Champs’ opening duo of Hashim Amla and AB de Villiers completely outmuscled the England bowling attack while chasing the target. Both the batters went unbeaten, with De Villiers scoring a sensational century (116 off just 51 balls). The Proteas skipper played the match-winning knock with an outstanding strike rate of 227.45, alongside Amla’s 25-ball 29, with four fours.

Meanwhile, what caught the attention of the fans was the iconic celebration of the SA pacer Wayne Parnell, when he showed some moves to join Gen-Z’s ‘aura farming’ trend. He did this celebration after dismissing the veteran England batter Ravi Bopara on the third ball of the second over. It happened when Bopara played a lofted shot off Parnell, and got caught by Jacques Rudolph, with Parnell showing off his version of the now famous social media trend. The video also went viral on social media as soon as it was shared by the official broadcasters on their official X handle (formerly Twitter).
