There were a lot of speculations on whether Chris Woakes would come into bat in the second innings, looking at his condition. Despite the injury, the 36-year-old right-arm seamer came out to bat with his right arm in a sling and covered under his sweater. The crowd in London rightfully gave the experienced campaigner a standing ovation for showing a lot of courage and putting his body on the line for the team. This move has also given a chance for the Barmy Army a chance to chase down the target with Atkinson looking good at the crease.
