Banter is common on the field, but players are expected to maintain their calm and composure. During the clash between Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, tensions flared as Virat Kohli was seen engaging in a heated exchange with KL Rahul, visibly showing his frustration.

‌Put into bat first, Delhi Capitals found themselves in early trouble with the dismissals of Abishek Porel and Karun Nair. Tristan Stubbs' brisk 34 off 18 balls, however, helped them post a competitive total of 162/8. RCB’s chase began on a disastrous note as they lost Jacob Bethell, Devdutt Padikkal, and Rajat Patidar cheaply, with Kohli’s misjudged call leading to Patidar’s run-out. Amidst this, their came a heated moment between Virat Kohli and KL Rahul.
During the game, Virat Kohli was seen speaking to KL Rahul about a single he had taken, but Rahul’s response seemed to annoy Kohli, who then returned to his stance. Kohli had another exchange with the DC wicketkeeper, which appeared to be gibberish, adding to the tension. The drama was fueled further by memories of Rahul’s earlier celebration at Chinnaswamy, where after leading DC to victory with a 93-run knock, he gestured that the stadium was his turf; now, with Kohli playing at his own home ground, Arun Jaitley Stadium, Twitter buzzed with reactions to their heated battle.
