IND vs BAN | Twitter laughs as Bumrah tells brain-faded Siraj to wear specs after meagre blunder

Friendly banter is a great way to foster team camaraderie, and moments of humour can enhance bonding in the team. A perfect example unfolded during the India-Bangladesh Test at Chepauk, where Jasprit Bumrah hilariously trolled Mohammed Siraj after he misjudged the ball at the boundary line.

‌Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant’s centuries set India up beautifully, propelling the team to 287/4. With a commanding lead of 514 runs, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma opted to declare, leaving Bangladesh with a mammoth target. The Bangladesh openers, Zakir Hasan and Shadman Islam got off to a solid start, reaching 62/0 in 16 overs. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal's spectacular catch dismissed Zakir, bringing Shanto to the crease.

Amid Bangladesh's chase, a humorous moment unfolded involving Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj. On the fifth ball of the 19th over, Bumrah bowled a shorter delivery aimed at the Bangladesh skipper's shoulder. Shanto skillfully judged the length and pulled the ball towards the long leg for a single. Siraj, stationed at the boundary, was unaware the ball was headed his way. As it approached, he sprinted and leapt to his right, successfully stopping it from reaching the ropes. Because he was late to react, Bumrah amusingly gestured for Siraj to put on his sunglasses if he couldn’t spot the ball. The incident quickly made its way to social media, bringing laughter to the Twitterverse.

LOL! Hilarious! xD xD xD

 Brilliant save that was!

Siraj has improved a lot!
