On landing in New Delhi, the unit was welcomed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a special breakfast followed by an open bus victory parade in Mumbai.

A Plethora of crowd jampacked in Marine Drive, awaiting the Champions' arrival in the afternoon. As the Indian team bus with the Champions tag headed for a parade, Rohit Sharma and co. received heartwarming reactions from the fans.
