‌SL vs IND | Twitter cherishes Virat Kohli replicating Riyan Parag’s Bihu dance after stunning catch

It is important to enjoy one's responsibility and celebrate the wins in life. Virat Kohli never hesitates to abide the same as the former Indian captain was in a joyous mode as he recreated Riyan Parag’s famous Bihu dance during the second ODI between India and Sri Lanka in Colombo.

Winning the toss and electing to bat first under pleasant weather conditions, Sri Lanka got off to a decent start despite losing Pathum Nissanka for a golden duck on the innings’ first delivery. Following a 74-run second-wicket partnership, the Indian spinners pegged back at the hosts with Kohli contributing with a fascinating catch and breaking into Bihu dance.

The fourth ball of the 27th over saw Axar Patel come around the wicket and bowl a fuller delivery near the off stump. Realising the ball’s trajectory in the slot, Sadeera Samarawickrama shimmied down the ground for a big slog but got the cue end of the stroke on it. The ball turned a tad away and came off the bat’s top-edge towards the cover region. Kohli, fielding at the particular position, sprinted backward to judge the ball midair and completed a regulation catch.

Right after, the 35-year-old looked at the dugout and placed both his hands at his waist to create an epic Bihu move. Riyan Parag, who was warming the bench on the day, did the Bihu dance celebration in the IPL 2020. Seeing Kohli try the same steps after taking a catch in Colombo sent the Twitterverse into a frenzy.
