Luck, at times, plays a pivotal part in determining the fate of a cricket contest. With dew playing a part in various venues in the IPL, the importance of the toss becomes apparent, with RCB captain Faf du Plessis indulging in animated discussion with SRH skipper Pat Cummins ahead of their clash.

Following five defeats in six matches, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru desperately needed some positive boost in the form of a win. Riding on the back of four back-to-back losses, the Bengaluru-based side had a tough challenge to face against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.  Ahead of the all-important toss, the two captains were seen engaging in an animation conversation.

Half an hour before the beginning of the contest, Cummins appeared as a keen listener to what the RCB skipper was saying. The gestures from the Proteas seemed like they were having an interesting conversation regarding the coin toss of a game and how it should be done. For once, Faf gestured a move of spinning the coin and signaling it falling behind before trying to pick the coin virtually.

The Twitterverse spurred as this clip of the two renowned figures circulated all over social media.
