Fan-following is almost like a byproduct of greatness and its evident in cricket as well. The Hyderabad crowd at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium went berserk when former World Cup-winning captain MS Dhoni strolled onto the field before the toss as SRH looked to square off against CSK.

The Chennai Super Kings initiated the 2024 IPL campaign on a high after decimating Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Titans in their first couple of matches. However, they suffered a defeat against the Delhi Capitals before heading into a clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad, where the fans were eagerly waiting to see Dhoni.

With the audience split into Orange and Yellow armies ahead of the South Indian derby, Dhoni stepped into the field before the toss, causing the spectators to go bonkers. The noise from the venue was moderate but as the former Indian captain strolled into the field, a huge roar broke all around the park, leaving the Twitterverse in a frenzy.
