Australia's tour of Bangladesh postponed to 2020/21

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and Cricket Australia (CA) have agreed to postpone Australia's T20I and Test tours of Bangladesh, which were set to happen within the next six months. Now, the Tests will be played around June/July next year and the T20Is in 2021 ahead of the WT20 in India.
Australia were scheduled to tour Bangladesh to play T20Is and Tests over the course of the next six months but the cricket boards of both the nations have come to an agreement to postpone it. The 2015 World Cup winners were scheduled to play a T20I series in October this year and two Tests in February next year, but both the series' have been postponed after both countries came to a mutual agreement. Now, instead, the Tests will be played around June/July next year, while the T20Is will be played in 2021, with the WT20 in India in mind.
"According to the FTP, we were supposed to host two Tests in February but now the Test series will be played in June-July 2020," BCB cricket operations chairman Akram Khan was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz.
"Initially we were expecting to host Australia for a two-match Twenty20 International series in October but now they have agreed to play three T20 internationals and it will be played ahead of the World T20 in India, though we are yet to finalise the date," he added.
The last time Australia toured Bangladesh was in 2017, where both teams shared the spoils in an extremely closely contested two-Test series.
