Virat Kohli has asserted that each member of the squad is enjoying playing in the team after beating Bangladesh by an innings and 46 runs in the pink Test to win the series 2-0. Kohli paid tribute to former captain Sourav Ganguly for laying the foundations for India’s cricketing success.

At the moment, the Men in Blue are simply unstoppable in the longest format of the game. Ever since the launch of the ICC World Test Championship, India has played seven matches and won all seven in convincing manner. With yet another innings victory in the historic pink Test, India became the first-ever to four consecutive innings victories and Kohli reckons there’s more to come.

“Only your belief can make you win. With the way these guys are bowling now, they can pick up wickets anywhere. Even the spinners. These guys are very hungry and I feel we are in the right kind of space and everyone is enjoying playing in this team,” Kohli said at the post-match presentation, reported Cricbuzz.

“The idea is to establish yourself in the middle and we have learnt to stand up and give it back. It all started with Dada's team and we are just carrying it forward. We are reaping the rewards for all the hard work we put in the last 3-4 years. I was thinking if they announce me as the Man of the Match, I should give it to one of the bowlers,” he said.

Though the Kolkata crowd only got to watch a little more than two days of play, they turned up in huge numbers to cheer on the traditional format of the game.

“Amazing, the numbers have only gotten better. We didn't expect so many people would turn up today and it sets a great example for the point I made about Test centres,” Kohli added.
