Sri Lanka openers Karunaratne and Kushal Perera made a good start with the bat but Mohammad Nabi's inflicted a massive collapse in the middle order which gave Afghanistan a stronghold in the game. With rain playing spoilsport, the game had to be stopped with the scorecard reading 182/8.
