When India needed Hardik Pandya to stay and support the skipper Virat Kohli, he threw away his wicket by casually jogging towards the danger end. But this did not have any effect on Kohli as he continued to steady the ship by scoring a brilliant 100 and help India cut the lead down to 29.

Brief Scores : South Africa 335 & 90/2 (AB de Villiers 50*, Dean Elgar 36; Jasprit Bumrah 2-19) lead India 307 (Virat Kohli 153, Murali Vijay 46; Morne Morkel 4-60, Vernon Philander 1/46) by 88 runs.

Scenes in the dressing room after Hardik Pandya returned!

Learn from this Pandya!

But thankfully the captain kept the hope alive!

Meanwhile Indian fans...

Oh, what would we do without you, Virat Kohli!

And he is level with the great Don Bradman!

But sadly India right now...

Saha: Do you miss me?

Virat doesn't look happy!
