Ishant Sharma has breached ICC’s Level 1 code of conduct with a send-off to Dawid Malan in England’s second innings in the first Test at Edgbaston, Birmingham. The act has earned a demerit point and a fine of 15% of his match fee for violating the Level 1 Article 2.1.7 under ICC's constitution.

As he ran away in celebration after picking Malan’s wicket caught at gully by Ajinkya Rahane, Ishant was seen turning towards the departing batsman and yelling out loud.
